Why is Mallorca a good destination for a corporate retreat?
Mallorca combines year-round flights from most European capitals, meeting hotels 30 to 45 minutes from the airport and enough venues for groups of 10 to 200+.
Meeting hotels with private beaches, fincas in the countryside and Palma's old town give every group a fitting base, and the island is compact enough to combine focused work with time outside.

What team building activities can you do on a corporate retreat in Mallorca?
Most teams pick one activity per day, from a catamaran afternoon to a paella class; every activity is optional and planned around your agenda.

Catamaran Cruise
A full day at sea on a private catamaran: you sail along the coast to secluded bays that are hard to reach by land, swim from the boat and have lunch and drinks on board, with music on deck. Water sports or a caricaturist can be added on request.

Personalised Team Challenge
A competition built around your team: we match the tasks to your group’s interests and combine cultural sights with hidden corners of the island. Teams solve tasks, collect points and meet at the finish, where the winners are announced. Easy to fit around a workshop day.

Paella Cooking Class
Cooking together with a local chef: you learn the story of Spain’s best-known dish, prepare the ingredients in small teams and cook the paella step by step. Afterwards everyone sits down together and eats what the group has made, with a glass of Mallorcan wine.

Mallorca Wine Tour
A half-day trip to two wineries in the island’s interior: walks through the vineyards and cellars, an introduction to Mallorca’s grape varieties, guided tastings with food pairings and a light lunch. A relaxed afternoon after a morning of meetings, with transfers included.

Treasure Hunt
Teams follow a route through Palma’s old town, solve puzzles and find clues at historic places along the way. Every team needs logic, teamwork and a good sense of direction to reach the treasure first. Planned for your group size and the time you have in your agenda.

Segway Tour from Palma
Two hours on a Segway through Palma: after a short introduction, a guide takes the group along the seafront promenade, past the cathedral and through the old town. Easy to learn and fun for everyone, with plenty of stops for photos and stories about the city.

Food Tour
A private tasting tour with a local guide: through the streets of Palma to the Santa Catalina market hall, where you try island specialities such as sobrasada, cheese, ensaïmada and olives. Along the way you learn about Mallorca’s food culture and the people behind the stalls.

Yoga Class
A yoga session in a natural setting, by the sea or in a garden, led by a professional instructor. Suitable for every level, with or without experience. A calm start to a workshop day or a way to switch off after intense sessions, with mats and equipment provided.
Kayak Tour along the Coast
Paddle in pairs along the coast to calm bays and sea caves, with a stop for a swim. The tour is guided and suitable for beginners: after a short briefing on the beach, the group sets off together. About 3 hours, with all equipment and a waterproof bag included.
E-Bike Ride in the Serra de Tramuntana
Through the mountains of the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana to stone villages and viewpoints over the sea, without the hard climbs thanks to the e-bikes. With a local guide, a support vehicle and a lunch stop in a mountain village; half a day.
Paparazzi Tour
Our own photo challenge: in small teams, your colleagues create their own guidebook of Palma, with photos, tasks and a few surprises along the way. Every team has to be creative, fast and work together. The guidebooks are presented at dinner, and the best one wins.
Olive Oil Tasting on a Country Estate
A walk through an old olive grove, an introduction to how olive oil is made and a tasting of Mallorcan oils with local bread, cheese and produce, followed by a light lunch in the courtyard. Relaxed and easy to combine with a workshop morning.
These are just a few examples. We also plan wine tastings, boat trips to quiet bays, hikes in the Serra de Tramuntana, cooking classes with island produce and team challenges built around your goals. Tell us what your team should take home, and we suggest the right mix.
Ask about other activitiesWhere does the team have dinner?
Three evening settings that work for groups
Most Mallorca retreats plan three evenings: a welcome dinner by the sea, a tapas tour through Palma's old town and a closing dinner on a finca inland.

Dinner on a finca inland
Round tables under a vine-covered pergola, a Mallorcan menu with wines from the island and the countryside around you. About 30 to 40 minutes from Palma by coach.
Closing dinner · groups up to about 120

Barbecue by the sea
On a private terrace, at a beach club or on board, with a barbecue or a set menu. Often exclusive for the group, a short drive from the coastal hotels.
Welcome dinner or lunch on board · groups up to about 150
Photo: Paul (@paul_colorado) / UnsplashTapas tour in Palma’s old town
From bar to bar through the old town with a local guide, and a few classics at every stop. Larger groups go in small teams with their own guide and meet for a last drink together.
Evening in town · groups up to about 100, in teams of 15 to 20
We suggest the venues for your dates and group after the discovery call. All three dinners are part of the price guide.

Is Mallorca the right fit?
Mallorca compared with similar destinations
Mallorca is the strongest choice for spring and autumn with short flights; for winter dates the Canary Islands are warmer, and Malta suits teams that want English as the local language.
| Destination | Flight from Frankfurt | Best months | Strength | More |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mallorca | about 2 h | Apr to Jun, Sep to Oct | Wide choice of venues close to the airport | Check feasibility |
| Malta | about 2 h 45 | Apr to Jun, Sep to Nov | English-speaking, compact distances | Malta team retreats |
| Canary Islands | about 4 h 30 | All year, warmest in winter | Spring temperatures from October to April | Canary Islands retreats |

Common questions about corporate retreats in Mallorca
What does a Mallorca company retreat cost per person?
Plan from €1,400 per person for 3 nights with about 30 people, including the agency fee and excluding flights; most retreats land between €1,400 and €2,500. The range covers a 4-star hotel, a meeting room for two days, business lunches, three dinners including one at a finca, one or two team activities, transfers and the tourist tax. Shared double rooms and spring or autumn dates sit at the lower end; single rooms, 5-star hotels, July and August or extra activities push the price up. Smaller groups pay more per person. After the discovery call you get a feasibility assessment with a budget range within 48 hours on working days.
How far ahead should we plan a retreat in Mallorca?
For May, June and especially September, start 9 to 12 months ahead: meeting hotels in Mallorca are often booked up a year before. For March, October or November, 6 to 12 weeks usually leave a good choice. Short notice is possible from 2 weeks, with fewer hotels to pick from, higher rates and sometimes a surcharge. Kick-offs with several hundred people need 9 to 12 months. Hotels now secure group rooms with an early deposit, so an early decision also locks in your preferred dates.
When is the best time for a retreat in Mallorca?
April to June and September to October are the best months for a retreat in Mallorca, with daytime temperatures of around 20 to 28 °C. They are warm enough for outdoor sessions, without the heat and prices of high summer. July and August are hot, busy and the most expensive. From November to March many beach hotels close for the season, while Palma’s city hotels stay open; this works well for smaller groups with a workshop focus and lower rates. Easter week raises hotel prices in Palma.
How do we get there, and how far are the hotels from the airport?
Palma airport (PMI) has direct flights from most European hubs: about 2 hours from Frankfurt and Amsterdam and about 2.5 hours from London. The airport is about 15 minutes from Palma’s old town, 30 to 45 minutes from most coastal meeting hotels and about an hour from Alcúdia in the north-east. We organise coach or minibus transfers for the whole group and match them to arrival times, so nobody waits long. Flights can be booked through us on request.
Palma, the coast or a finca: where should our team stay?
It depends on group size and purpose. Palma’s old town suits groups of 20 to 30 who want walkable dinners and a city feel; boutique hotels there have smaller meeting rooms. 4-star beach and resort hotels on the coast work for 30 to 80 people, with daylight meeting rooms and space for breakout sessions. Groups of 100 or more usually stay in conference hotels near the airport. A finca inland suits leadership teams of up to about 20 who want privacy, or works as the setting for a closing dinner.
What happens if the weather turns on an activity day?
We plan an indoor alternative for every outdoor activity before the retreat. If the forecast is poor, we swap days, move the catamaran to another afternoon or replace it with a cooking class or a wine tasting. Boat operators decide on safety on the day, and we keep each supplier’s cancellation terms in view, so a change in the weather does not turn into a cost surprise. In spring and autumn, rain usually comes as short showers, and a flexible agenda solves most cases.
Can we bring our own facilitator, or do you provide one?
Both work. Plenty of teams arrive with a facilitator they already trust, or lead the sessions themselves; we then plan rooms, breaks and activities around their agenda. If you want support, we shape the agenda with you and bring in external facilitators, coaches or trainers. Share the business goal in the discovery call, for example alignment on strategy or onboarding new leaders, and we suggest a schedule with enough focus time and enough free time for the team.
